A reinvisioned call recording app which helps consumers automatically record their phone calls.

Paying the attention to the details

We surveyed the dozens of existing call recording apps which were missing the mark on the right user journey and experience.

After this, we crafted a paper prototype (low-fidelity) user journey of what the most optimal solution would like like. The product, design and engineering teams worked closely together to find the right intersection of what is technically feasible and what is actually needed by our users.

When we were satisfied with our internal iterations, it was time to get our users involved!

The Results

We’ve provided call recording to over 500,000 users across dozens of countries. Our secure servers have stored over 1 million call recordings, with an average of 400,000 hours of recordings processed. We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response to our app, with over 1,000 reviews and a 4.7 star ratings in the App Store.

To create a unique call recording app which allows users to record their incoming and outgoing calls in 1-step.

We found existing apps in the market which relied on a 3-way conference call merging method to record calls which was clunky and consumed a lot of precious time.

We thought…there must be a better way to revolutionize call recording.

Our solution

That we needed to overcome

By interviewing users in legal, accounting, finance, customer success and marketing disciplines, we immediately saw the need for a faster way to record a phone call. Based on this feedback, we completely rethought what the fundamental core experience should be like for users who need to record their calls.

We worked with various phone carriers to plan and implement a new kind of phone call recording, welcome automatic call recording. By doing this. we were able to completely remove the intermediary step of performing a 3-way call and allowed users to directly record phone calls with one easy step, just by choosing their contact and placing a call.

This is a tremendous improvement from existing call recorders on the market and have allowed us to save professionals who use this service an immense amount of time.
